These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Pixelizer web application (“Service”), a SaaS platform for image processing and pixelization developed by Benjamin de Pourquery (“we”, “our”, “Company”).
By accessing our Service, creating an account, or using our features, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use our Service.
• “Service”: The Pixelizer web application and all its features • “User”: Any person using the Service • “User Content”: Images, projects, and data uploaded by the User • “Premium Account”: Paid subscription unlocking advanced features • “Personal Data”: Any information that allows identifying the User
The Service is intended for users aged 13 years minimum. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent where required by applicable law.
When creating your account via Google OAuth or other provided methods, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities performed under your account.
Pixelizer allows you to transform images into pixel art using advanced image processing algorithms. The Service includes:
• Image processing into pixel art with adjustable parameters • Project management and personal gallery • Sketch system to save different parameter variations • Export of creations in various formats • Free version with basic features • Premium subscriptions ($3.99/month or $39.99/year) with advanced features
You retain all intellectual property rights to the images you upload and the pixel art creations you generate. We do not claim any ownership rights to your User Content.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and worldwide license to process, store, display, and transform your images solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the uploaded images. You agree not to upload content that:
• Violates third-party intellectual property rights • Is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or offensive • Contains personal data of third parties without authorization • Violates any applicable law or regulation
If you believe content violates your rights, contact us at pixelizer.app@gmail.com. We will promptly review any claim and take appropriate measures, including removal of infringing content if necessary.
The Service, including its source code, algorithms, user interface, trademarks, and all design elements, is protected by intellectual property rights. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
It is prohibited to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of our technology, perform reverse engineering, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
We collect and process your personal data (authentication information, uploaded images, project data, payment information) in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Under GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data. Contact us at pixelizer.app@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
Your data is retained for the duration necessary to provide the Service. After account closure, images and projects are deleted immediately, while certain billing information is retained for 7 years in accordance with legal obligations.
Some of our service providers (Google Firebase, Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Subscriptions are processed via Stripe (direct web payment) or RevenueCat depending on your location. Renewal is automatic unless cancelled. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes based on your jurisdiction.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partially used periods, except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify our prices with 30 days notice by email. New prices apply to the next billing cycle.
You agree to use the Service responsibly and legally. It is prohibited to:
• Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes • Attempt to circumvent security measures or technical limitations • Intentionally overload our servers or disrupt the Service • Create fake accounts or share your credentials • Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorized automated tools • Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code
We strive to maintain the Service available 24/7, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service with reasonable notice, except in cases of technical or security emergencies.
You can close your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting us. Upon closure, your personal data and projects will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or abusive use of the Service. Notice will be given except in cases of serious violation requiring immediate action.
After termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately. Your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except for legal retention obligations.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or suitability of the Service.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the past 12 months. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our willful misconduct, gross negligence, or where law does not permit such limitations.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, we favor amicable resolution. Failing agreement, French courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or use of the Service.
In accordance with European regulations, you may also use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or through the application with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
If you do not accept the changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect. The current version of the Terms is always available on our site.
If any provision of these Terms proves invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements relating to this subject.
